A Letter To Readers

 Hello All!

First and foremost I would like to thank you for taking time to come to my site. I’m sure many of you are submerged in life’s many ups and downs. I wish you well among your journey in this beautiful endeavor.

I decided to start a “The Kings Sword” for many reasons. First and foremost, it allows me a place to come share what means something to me, and while consumed by working on other projects, novels, commissions, and other projects alike, it’s an escape where I can spend time with you.

Here I will be publishing some of those stories, poems, and sometimes even just a look into my mind, sharing the journey while in the process of completing my first novel, hopefully soon to be published, available to you on your E-readers and in physical copies as well.

Second, for many writing is an outlet, a quiet space with oneself away from the commotion of the worlds alarming amount of nonsense that seems to just continue to be growing. This serves as that space for me, and I hope you enjoy. Writing is personal, a standing ovation is deserved to all authors, and artist alike that go into that vulnerable place to allow others to see their work. A great man once said, “Nothing goes viral like an accusation.” And in my personal experience nothing seems more popular in this realm of what we call the internet then criticism.

Third, I hope to create a space where people can converse and share the great thoughts they have in the comment section without fear of shame and exile. As human beings one of our greatest powers is the ability to formulate thoughts on our own. More times than not in life we’ll be encountered with people who have different views than the ones we hold close to our hearts. That’s okay. That’s part of the beauty of conversation. I say this to warn that some of the pieces to come will be controversial, others not so much. The controversial pieces are meant to make you THINK, it isn’t illegal yet.

So I urge you to come along with me in this journey called life. The ups, the downs. The great moments and the moments that we just wish would have gone a little bit different. As we carry out this journey together please feel free to reach out to me at erdelane6@gmail.com I will do my best to respond to all of you.

Sincerely,

E.R. Delane
